What does the UK Global Talent visa do for me as an artist?

As a UK Global Talent visa holder, you can work in the UK without the need for sponsorship and no minimum requirements for salary, allowing you to focus on your creative career without like you depend on your employer. You can also be self-employed or start your own business.

How long will my UK Global Talent visa be valid for?

You can choose how long your visa will be valid for – this can be up to 5 years. You can then extend your visa or apply for permanent residence (heads up: you can apply for permanent residency after 3 years if you’re endorsed as an Exceptional Talent).

Can I bring my family to the UK with me and would they be able to settle here permanently?

Yes, your immediately family members will be able to come to the UK with you and qualify for permanent residence after 5 years and UK citizenship after 6 years provided all conditions are met.
