Start hiring internationally with a Sponsor License in 5 steps
01
Discovery & roadmapping
We’ll run a deep-dive assessment of your business requirements and current immigration compliance status to determine the optimal path-to-license for your company.
02
Compiling document stack
We’ll work with you to prepare your document stack. This may include registrations, accounts, bank statements, insurance and will depend on your unique circumstances.
03
Preparing for compliance visit
The Home Office may request a compliance assessment of your company as part of your application process. Not to worry, we’ve got you covered – we’ll run mock audits to proactively identify areas of concern and help you be 100% prepared.
04
Submitting your application
Once your document stack is complete and you are prepared for any potential compliance assessments, we file your application.
05
Learning to use your license
Once your Sponsor Licence status is granted, we help your staff get confident in using the Home Office’s Sponsorship Management System (SMS). This system allows you to assign a unique code to each non-UK individual you would like to hire so that they can then apply for their visa to enter the UK. You can start hiring!
What's next?
After you get your license
Start hiring
You now have your Sponsor Licence so you can start hiring overseas employees. You will need to use the Sponsorship Management System to assign a Certificate of Sponsorship (aka CoS) to each new employee so they can use it to apply for a visa to travel to the UK.
Maintain immigration compliance
Ensure you keep all information about your international hires up to date. Meticulous record-keeping, running the appropriate right to work checks and updating the Home Office on any changes to the employee’s status will ensure that you maintain your status as a Licenced Sponsor.
